Framed prints for a home office

These London framed black and white prints are collection of my work photographing London for almost 40 years. I learnt how to develop and print black and white film while I was at school and in my first flat in London I set up a darkroom. I spent most of my spare time taking photographs with a view to having a gallery like this one day. In my blogs I talk about standing on freezing London bridges with my camera on a tripod in the middle of the road waiting for the light to be perfect. I had plenty of tight scrapes with taxis and buses whizzing by and some of the slow shutter speed prints below would take hours for me to perfect. In the darkroom, and later on in Photoshop, I would then make the perfect print and my signature dark blacks with subtle shades of much lighter greys became what I was known for. There are colour galleries in all of the city collections in the navigation above but my passion has always been black and white photography, particularly panoramics. For many years I had a gallery in South west London and now my collection all lives online. I still live in London with my two daughters.
